Caroline Forbes finally takes her place on The Originals season 5.

Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Caroline (Candice King) fans can finally sigh with relief. TVLine announced an exclusive bit of news that has sent The Originals/ TVD fans into a frenzy. Some are over the moon with glee, while others are thinking about the future of the show and what this news will bring. However, the emotions are real for many. Four years into this saga of The Originals one question has always been asked. When is Caroline Forbes coming on the show and FINALLY we have the answer.

Candice King will reprise her Vampire Diaries role on The Originals‘ fifth season premiere, TVLine has learned exclusively. Unfortunately, no further details about King’s appearance, slated to air sometime in 2018, are available.

Caroline Forbes will be apart of season 5 of The Originals, while most remains a mystery about the extent of her role or if this means Klaus will finally find his happiness in the end with the girl he promised forever to long ago. One thing is sure; Caroline will finally take her place in the show and renew her importance in Klaus’s life.

While the writers and cast have always stood behind wanting the show to do well on its own, part of Klaus’s character has always seem lost to me, and most of it was due to the exclusion of his relationship with Caroline. Many who know this relationship and some who do not, can’t deny Ms. Mystic Falls has/had a tremendous effect on Klaus during his years on The Vampire Dairies, so much of how we came to love, cherish and adore Klaus came from his interactions with Caroline. Joseph Morgan himself has acknowledged his favorite scenes throughout playing Klaus, and a majority of those include Caroline.

While many have always held this relationship up against Klaus’s other love interest throughout The Originals, one thing rings true. Caroline was the first for many of us and as they say crazy or not that type of love never dies.

Hi…thank you for reading and checking out the site. My fascination with vampires and all things supernatural started at a young age. Reemerging with Anne Rice’s “Interview with a Vampire” book and movie. I love TV maybe a little too much. Adore makeup and accessories. Sci-fi geek to my heart and I will never be ashamed to say I loved Star Wars before it was cool…still do. ~ Arcena P
