The Originals – Spoiler Updates For The Finale.
PRE-FINALE: “Every single character is in a dire, Dahlia-related situation,” warns executive producer Michael Narducci. “Nobody is safe.” That includes Hayley, who will risk “alienating and/or losing some of the people she loves” in order to protect her child, and Cami, who returns to the fold to get Klaus back on track. As the finale draws near, “Characters will die, and several characters will be changed in ways that are horrifying and/or life altering.”
SEASON FINALE (MAY 11): How’s this for a tease? Per Narducci, just when it appears all is lost for the Mikaelsons, “A desperate plan, a moment of trust, a final sacrifice and a surprising twist may give the family a final shot to save themselves — or damn them for all time.

What comes next is Josh’s grief. “He’s wrecked,” Narducci said about Josh, before adding that, no matter how wrecked, Josh isn’t dumb enough to try to take on Klaus in order to fulfill some sort of revenge fantasy. “[His sentiment is], ‘The reality is, no matter how much I’m angry, no matter how much of a vendetta I want to carry out against Klaus Mikaelson, I’m just a couple-year-old vampire and that’s Klaus Mikaelson.’ I think the first thing he needs to do is to wrap his head around how he’s going to recover from this grief.”
Do the siblings believe they can take on Dahlia without him?
Narducci: That is the million dollar question everyone is struggling with. In the final seconds… [Elijah’s] expression of grief and sadness and fear of what [this has] come to is incredible. It is chilling what is going on because that child is certainly in danger and could be taken. They’re never going to let that happen, so they’re going to stand up to someone who is the most powerful thing we’ve ever seen in this universe. They’re going to have to find a way to deal with her without the most dangerous member of their family.

Cami (Leah Pipes) is the only one who knows that Klaus didn’t kill Aiden. How will that weigh on her?
Once she finds out what has happened, she will be aghast and she will want to correct this wrong, but the question becomes, what can she really do? She’s got a very interesting storyline in terms of her relationship with the Mikaelson vampires in the next few episodes.
HAYLEY & JACKSON | There’s plenty of wolf-y drama afoot, as they’re “reeling from the loss of the guy who was, in effect, the Vice President,” Narducci says. “Hayley, as a leader, is going to have to work with Jackson to find a way to earn back [the wolves’] trust.” On the romantic end, even though Elijah is clearly still in love with Hayley, his sense of familial duty will prevent him from attempting to split up her marriage. Besides, “over the course of that marriage, she found herself having legitimate feelings” for Jackson, too.
